What's your value?

One day, a pastor was invited to share a short message.
He took out a 100 dollars bill
He asked "anyone seated here want this?"

Initially, no one raised their hands, then he added
"come on, don't be shy! You can have it!"

And at this point of time, almost 1/3 of th guests raised their hands.

Then the pastor crushed the bill, and asked again "So, who wants this now?"

As usual, there are people raising up their hands, but it's one times fewer then the previous first time.

Then for the third time, he throw the crashed 100 dollars bill on the floor, and stepped on it a few times, pick it up, and asked.. "So, who wants this now?"

This time round, only 3 raised their hands. Then the pastor invited one of the three on stage, and said
"Ladies and gentlemens, he is the only one who raised up his hands all 3 times.."

Then he looked at the audiences and said.
"No matter how crumpled, wrinkled, or damaged the 100 dollars bill may look, It's the value in it that matters. And this young man sees the value of this 100 dollars bill."

-------------------------------------------------------------

This story was heard from the radio in the car.
It's initially about in the wedding ceremony, and the pastor proceed by telling the guy in the end. "I hope you'll see the value of the lady standing beside you now like this young man seeing the value of the 100 dollars bill. When she's old, wrinkled, and looses her beauty, and you'll still acknowledge her value, and continue to treasure her in your entire lifetime"
Or something like that, I can't remember word for word, but what I really heard was nice. Chinese version ^^

Anyway, the point is, it's true right? No exactly only just about the marriage part, but the whole idea in general.

And what's our value? =))

I didn't really know why I posted this, but it's just.. interesting :)
