Why do people say.. "'something' is my life"?

Just like people say "fashion is my life."
"Designing is my life"
"cars is my life."
"cooking is my life."
"you're my life."
"bowling is my life."
"skating is my life."
"drawing is my life"

tada tada~

It's sad, because something else is their life.
HAHA!
Ok.. I know people dun mean that way when they say something is their life.. but wellll.. Lol..
I just find it weird recently.

Maybe they can say "something is IN my life"
or..
hmm.. sounds ugly.. But the original one sounds like something else is taking over their life, not their life taking over something.

Unless when someone says "God is my life" then maybe I think it does make sense.. ^^
Nuh, I'm not a religious person.. But u know what I mean. =))

Uh, nvm, I'll just stick to the old ways then.. haha.

Weird weird.. I think I got this kinds idea thingy frm reading some blog, er... "misizzy". Was bored. The entry was far way back, like last year? Random visits.
